PANIC ATTACK
A panic attack is intense fear that comes on suddenly without warning.
During a panic attack a person may have racing, irrational thoughts, rapid heartbeat, tingling arms and hands, lightheadedness, fear of losing control, fear of dying, tightness in the chest, numbness and nausea. During a panic attack, a person may feel a desperate need to get somewhere safe. Many sufferers have became so bound by fear that they don’t want to leave their homes for fear of having a panic attack while away from home. Many have developed fear of driving in their car for fear of panicking while driving on the highway. A panic attack may only last for several minutes, but the impact of one can leave the individual drained and tormented for days afterwards.
Christians all over the world are suffering with panic attacks, anxiety and depression. Satan has found a way to come in and steal their peace. The good news is that Satan is a defeated foe and God doesn’t have any defeat planned for us today. The battle is in the mind and we must allow God to help us get our emotions under control. We allow our emotions to control us. There is hope for the troubled soul. By renewing our mind with God’s Holy Word we can begin to re-program our thinking. We must learn to replace the negative thoughts with God’s promises.
What should I do when I am feeling anxious? If you are a believer you should not be afraid. God doesn’t want his children walking around being fearful and anxious. God said his Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.
Taking God’s Holy Word and quoting it over our lives will bring instant peace in the midst of the storm.
Take God’s Word as if you were taking medicine for a sickness. Take it 3 times a day, or more if needed.
It is God’s will for us to be well. God never intended for His children to go around being tormented and worried all of the time
God’s Word is like medicine to all who find it.
