I sought the Lord and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears. (Psalms 34:4)

When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him. (Isaiah 59:19)

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8)

In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:6)

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. (1 Peter 1:24)

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)

For the Word of God is quick, powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of sould and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4:16)

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. (Romans 4:20)

We must accept Jesus Christ into our lives before we can stand on God’s Promises. Once Jesus lives within our hearts we can faithfully stand on his Word.

Romans 10:9…That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

A PRAYER FOR THOSE WHO DON’T HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS.

Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that I need you in my life. I am not able to change my life or circumstances through my own efforts. I know that I have made some wrong decisions in my life, and I turn away from those ways of thinking and acting that are not producing positive outcomes in my life. I believe You have provided a way for me to receive Your blessings and help in my life. That way is Jesus. Right now, I believe and confess Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I ask Jesus to come into my heart and give me a new life born of Your Spirit. I thank You for saving me and I ask for Your grace and mercy in my life. I pray this in Jesus’ name.

THE HOLY GHOST

When I feel the Spirit walking up and down the avenues of my soul,
It brings a peace like the calm after a storm.
Like flowers lift their heads, and the birds begin to sing
The bees begin to buzz with joy
Then I realize I have been visited by the greatest gift known to man;
other than salvation brought by the one and only Jesus Christ the Son of the living God.
It’s no wonder one writer said, it was joy unspeakable and full of glory.
It comes like the wind and leaves the same way
It is truly the comforter.
